Bio
There's little I can tell about myself without sounding like an infinite number of other people. I'm neither young nor old; I used to have a social life and be considered fun to be around, but now I've grown up and gotten a heavy workload... everything seems like too much effort now. I love my cats and my comfort zone and I constantly try to challenge it so that I don't get too stuck in it. I weigh 20 kg more than I did 10 years ago and it's much harder to get to the drop shots than it once was. I love to read but again I'm far more critical now than once upon a time and I don't have the attention span (or time available!) to watch bad movies or tv. I love getting emotionally attached to characters but I don't much like the sad endings. After seeing and deeply involving with the xmen movies I started tracking down the comic background and now I'm fighting my way through 40 years of the comic history (up to about #280 right now.) I have little tolerance of crowds, people who abuse children or animals in any way, and hypocritical politicians.

Like about 5 zillion other people I write unpublished fiction, very badly really (but unlike about 30% I do at least try to keep the spelling, grammar and continuity in line.) After experimenting with all sorts of things I've canned all the rest (including graphic fantasies) and stuck to the one I started (after falling in love with the lead character in a cartoon... I still can't say that without wincing) at age 10. I'd like to think my writing style has improved since then. I know it's changed a little.

Once upon a time I believed in love and truth, and could say the word "kiss" in 10 languages. Now I believe that most of the human race are out for themselves and the exceptions are rare - and if you find someone rare, make the most of it, get to know them (you won't see too many.)

I don't know why I've signed onto this page and I'll be lucky if I visit often enough to remember the password, but let's see how I go... anything is possible, if work, exams, and the realities of life like buying a house, the lumps and bumps of a long term relationship, and just simple things like paying bills on time, don't get in the way.
